t h e p r o j e c t
One day, I was walking alone in the narrow streets my hometown, Reggio Emilia, it was early in the morning, the shops were still closed but the air was full of energy.
Suddenly the street opens up and I find myself in one of the main city squares.
I took that path dozens of times but that day was different.
That day I felt different.
Sometimes wouldn’t it be great to go to a place and start dancing and screaming and being crazy just to let out our feelings? To show what we really have inside?
Well, that’s not how I function. The way I’m built and wired would never let me do that.
But the feelings and the energy kept growing and growing and growing inside me until I literally felt my body ripping apart and I saw myself blowing up in a cloud of color at the center of this square.
I couldn’t move.
It took me quite some time to realize what just happened.
And what happened was that I found my own personal way to finally take over a place with my energy, my colors, my volume and to stop suffering from not being able to be my real me.
That’s how the idea started to become real.
So, this is the cloud project, six of my hometown city squares where I imagined myself blowing up in colors, each color related to a specific place and feeling.

Voraciously curious and always craving for new ways of expression.
Born in a small countryside Italian village I’ve always felt a strong connection with my roots, but just like a tree I needed to grow branches and leaves seeking for more light and powerful energy.
The quest for the search of this energy brought me to pack and move to NYC where I’ve been struck by the vibes of millions of people fighting for their achievements and where I began to finally getting to know the real me and give shape to who I am and will be.
I’ve always been an introverted person.
Since I was a little kid the best ways to express myself were dreaming, drawing and building legos.
That led me to study and graduate in architecture, which I always considered a grown-man way of building legos.
After co-founding with Giulia the award-winning interior design studio ‘ovre.design®’ I started to dive deeper into the creativity field searching for other channels of expression.
Architecture is a very stimulating way to express and create, but it still obeys to the laws of the world, from the force of gravity to budget costs and it’s supposed to be made for other people, the clients.
I always felt the need to express my creativity with no boundaries, no rules, no judgment and no limits.
Sometimes the urge of being creative and letting out is so overwhelming that I feel like a pressure cooker ready to explode.
I needed something entirely mine, and this is where the journey begins.
